Job description

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the technician will support administrative, operational, and maintenance activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform administrative follow-ups related to operations;
  • Prepare various operational reports and documents;
  • Participate in purchasing parts, supplies, and equipment required for operations;
  • Follow up with suppliers;
  • Maintain certain inventories, records, and tracking files up to date;
  • Assist in planning and monitoring preventive maintenance activities;
  • Provide support during equipment repairs and troubleshooting;
  • Perform basic inspections and checks on equipment;
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment;
  • Participate in health and safety activities when required;
  • Perform any other related duties as needed;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field (an asset);
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
  • Good knowledge of computer tools and the Microsoft Office suite;
  • English required (French considered an asset)
