Join us as a Engineering Student for our Calgary District, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 or 8 months starting in September 2026. Depending on your assigned project as a Engineering Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
  • Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
  • Participation in project meetings
  • Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs
  • Issues warranties
  • Takes/coordinates progress photos
  • Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
  • Performance of quantity takeoffs
  • Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
  • Set-up and maintenance of records
  • Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software
  • Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
  • Monitoring of workforce productivity
Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required depending on the project site/location.
  • Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
  • Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
