Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Student Engineer to assist engineers developing tactical sensor technologies. In this role, the selected candidate will focus primarily on radar systems and RF hardware engineering, gaining hands-on experience across the entire development lifecycle. The selected candidate’s tasks will include designing, modeling, component selecting, procuring, assembling, integrating, and testing. Additionally, the selected candidate will perform data analysis, troubleshoot hardware, and support flight testing of radar systems.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be attending Utah State University pursuing a degree in electrical engineering
  • Must have at least one year of school remaining
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer
  • Experience or interest in electronics, computers, robotics, electromagnetics, digital logic, remote sensing, MATLAB, C++
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
