The Role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Civil Engineer to support our Water Infrastructure Team in South Jordan, Utah (Salt Lake City area).

In this role, you will lead and manage the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure projects across the Wasatch Front. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical quality, manage project budgets and schedules, and support business development efforts that strengthen Psomas' presence in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all phases of water infrastructure projects including water, wastewater, and recycled water systems
  • Review engineering plans, reports, and project specifications
  • Provide technical leadership, oversight, and quality review for project teams
  • Manage project staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
  • Lead or support business development activities and client relationship management
  • Coordinate pursuit planning and proposal development
  • Maintain contract management and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget goals
  • Supervise and mentor engineers and technical staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah
  • 10+ years of project management experience in the design and delivery of water resources infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated success managing water/wastewater engineering projects in the Wasatch Front region
  • Experience with design of pump stations, large-diameter pipelines, water production wells, flow control facilities, and reservoirs
  • Experience supervising engineers and designers
  • Strong experience with technical specifications, engineer's estimates, scheduling, and proposal writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with master planning and hydraulic modeling
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, and related engineering software
  • Strong business development, team leadership, and operational management skills
