Role

As an Engineering Level 1, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities to the highest standards. Your efforts will help ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable experience during their stay. Responsibilities

  • Exceed guest expectations by maintaining high standards of care and service in your daily tasks, while projecting a positive image through proper grooming and professional communication.
  • Report on time for each shift, adhering to uniform standards.
  • Care for tools, supplies, and equipment responsibly, ensuring all items are properly accounted for and maintained.
  • Perform general preventive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, painting, minor repairs, and inspecting mechanical rooms nightly.
  • Conduct routine inspections and repairs of public pools, indoor and outdoor lighting, and HVAC systems as per the department schedule.
  • Respond to room and guest calls, ensuring that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Carry out snow removal, garbage pickup, and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the facilities.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs, keeping track of daily tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Engineering.
  • Assist with furniture setup for events, and other duties as needed to support hotel operations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort settings.
  • Must have open availability and be willing to work weekends and holiday shifts.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various departments and colleagues.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged durations.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and clean appearance in line with company policies.
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner, representing the high standards of Aman resorts.
  • Clean driving and criminal records required.
