You will bridge the gap between complex logistics sales and financial accuracy, ensuring our pricing translates seamlessly from a handshake to an invoice. Reporting to the Manager of Rate Administration, you will join a high-energy team where best-in-class is our daily standard.

What You'll Do
  • Configure Rating Modules: Analyze freight execution profiles and configure rate structures in our systems to match complex, high-value customer contracts.
  • Data Manipulation & Integrity: Perform heavy file preparation and manipulation using the Microsoft Suite (Excel-heavy) to translate customer awards into live pricing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central hub between Pricing, Billing, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve "no-rate" errors and billing discrepancies with a sense of urgency, often requiring same-day resolution.
  • Financial Safeguarding: Manage and audit rate implementations to prevent errors that directly impact our financial reporting and bottom line maintaining our financial integrity.
  • System Management: Maintain and update rates across both internal Werner systems and external customer portals to ensure alignment with business rules.
Essential Job Functions
  • Implementation: Manage and implement large-scale customer awards based on specific load execution requirements.
  • Communication: Maintain clear, concise documentation of rate modifications and research findings within internal systems.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: A root-cause mindset. Determine why the issue occurred and how to prevent it.
  • System Optimization: Assist management in the development and enhancement of rating systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding rate administration inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting: Generate official rate agreements to finalize publications for Werner Enterprises. Analyze rate discrepancies and collaborate with partner departments to resolve

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
