Position Summary

The Precision Ag Product Specialist is a key member of our product support team, bridging customer needs and internal dealership operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting customer technology issues, driving adoption of Precision Ag tools, and ensuring internal teams are trained to deliver optimized support. Success in this position requires strong technical expertise, a passion for teaching, and the ability to connect solutions to both customer profitability and organizational growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Act as primary point of contact for troubleshooting Precision Ag customer technology issues.
  • Partner with commercial sales teams and ag service providers to drive technology utilization.
  • Train internal dealership teams on Precision Ag tools, including Operations Center and Service Advisor Remote.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by sharing feedback and collaborating across departments.
  • Provide dealership integration by aligning service, parts, and sales around Precision Ag strategy.
  • Partner with sales teams to demonstrate technology and drive adoption across the Valley Plains Community.
  • Lead customer and employee training programs, including off-season education sessions.
  • Sell, execute, and manage support agreements and ensure accurate billing.
  • Consult with customers on Precision Ag solutions to increase profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively deliver preseason updates, display setup, and subscription activations to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in Service, Parts, or Sales Departments Operations.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Proficiency in computer functions, Microsoft Office, and experience using Service ADVISOR, Parts ADVISOR, or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools.

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective step-by-step instructions to both internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree preferred.

Compensation

This is a salaried position with incentive opportunities. Precision Ag Specialist $65k to $85K plus, incentive and performance based.
