Groundhog Landscaping, a respected leader in landscape maintenance and construction since 1995, is seeking a full-time Engine Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Derry, NH. This opportunity offers a competitive pay range of $22 to $28 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

The Engine Mechanic position follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with work hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This structure provides regular daytime hours and weekends off.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ENGINE MECHANIC

  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in small engines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Skill using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment (preferred)

DAY-TO-DAY

In this Engine Mechanic role, you will spend each day performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment, including hydro mowers, trimmers, backpack and walk-behind blowers, chainsaws, edgers, material spreaders, snowplows, and other related machinery. You will be responsible for accurately identifying and addressing mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining thorough records of all maintenance and repair work, and managing parts and supply inventories.
