Job Title: Engine Mechanic
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Position Overview
The Engine Mechanic I role is an entry-level position supporting the disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines. This role offers hands-on training, working under experienced mechanics to develop technical expertise in aerospace engine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) to learn turbine engine maintenance procedures.
  • Assist in disassembling, repairing, and assembling aero-derivative engines.
  • Review technical documents, visual aids, and tooling instructions before and during tasks.
  • Perform basic inspections and support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) protocols.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and company policy compliance.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical education in a related field (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing principles and data systems.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen or Green Card holder).
