Small Engine Mechanic
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Small Engine Mechanic for a company based in Columbia, TN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your technical career while supporting a productive service team dedicated to keeping outdoor power equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

Small Engine Mechanic Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and outdoor power equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Service lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, generators, and similar equipment.
  • Deliver quality repairs while providing excellent customer service and meeting service deadlines.
 
 
 
 
Small Engine Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must provide and maintain your own tools.
  • Must have small engine repair or maintenance of some kind
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Capable of lifting and handling equipment safely.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
