Job description

Strategic planning and a systematic process are key to meeting goals especially when it comes to revenue growth. Lightspeed Systems is looking for aRevenueOperations Analyst to drive bookings and pipeline forecasting, analyze data and provide operational support to the sales, success, and marketing teams. We are looking for a data-driven and metrics-oriented individual with passion for partnering with go-to-market teams to drive key business objectives and turn data-driven insights into actions. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:  

  • Develop and maintain reporting, forecasts, and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the go to market and executive leadership teams. Reporting to be done in excel, Salesforce, and Sigma (BI reporting tool). 
  • Work closely with Sales and Success leadership to define and operationalize key KPIs. Perform regular ad hoc analysis for various departments throughout the organization to guide business strategy. 
  • Identify & implement system process automation and improvement opportunities to increase sales productivity and data accessibility.  
  • Work across a global organization to ensure consistent reporting and operations across the organization. 
  • Ability to understand how individuals interact with our Salesforce instance and write out requirements to improve the user experience.  
  • Own data accuracy for all sales data across the organization. 
  • Support the development and calculation of payment of sales and success team compensation plans. 
  • You love details and digging in to figure out how to answer a question or when something seems off with the data. 

ABOUT YOU: 

  • 1-2 years in an analyst role ideal, preferably sales operations at a SaaS company 
  • Bachelor degree required 
  • Strong excel skills required 
  • Experience withSalesforce.comstrongly preferred 
  • Strong communication, analytic, and listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with both internal and external customers at all levels.  
  • Ability to effectively operate with high-energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment 
  • You can work on your own to solve a problem, but also can collaborate with others and value their perspectives as other perspectives lead to better solutions. 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiate, drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. 
  • You thrive in problem solving. You have the insight to identify problems, address a problem, and collaboratively develop a solution 
  • You love Excel and analytics. You can do complex analyses to identify trends to provide senior leadership insightful business recommendations. 
  • Strong accuracy and organizational skills with a high-level attention to detail
  • Experience with financial statements and revenue recognition is a plus  

Please note: We will require onsite 5 days a week until the onboarding has completed. There will then be an option to work in a hybrid capacity in office Tues-Thurs with Mon and Fri being optional work remotely days.
