Job Responsibilities
  • Lead technical evaluations and support energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial clients.
  • Conduct onsite and virtual inspections to verify installations, collect data, and deploy metering equipment.
  • Perform energy and peak demand savings calculations using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Provide technical assistance and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Research emerging technologies, funding opportunities, and best practices in energy efficiency.
  • Analyze energy performance for new construction and LEED-certified projects.
  • Support QA/QC reviews, benefit-cost analyses, and program evaluations.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain complete and reliable records of data, notes, findings, and photos from site inspections and analyses.
  • Coordinate regularly with internal engineering staff and project managers.
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of written reports and presentations.
  • Ensure proper organization of files, documentation, and data entry.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with customers, clients, contractors/trade allies, and team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting, construction, lighting, HVAC, or as a field technician.
  • Experience with probability, statistics, and regression analysis.
  • Experience performing QA/QC reviews.
  • Familiarity with energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, Trane TRACE).
  • Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including in virtual environments.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working remotely.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
