Job description

The End User Computing Engineer will support, manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Goodwill's end-user computing environment consisting of desktop, mobile devices, printers, POS devices and peripherals across the enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Implements strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and IT infrastructure environment. Implements, revises, and sustains policies, procedures and programs. Typically works on projects and initiatives that span 3 - 12 months.
The End User Computing Engineer will support, manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of Goodwill's end-user computing environment consisting of desktop, mobile devices, printers, POS devices and peripherals across the enterprise. The desktop engineer also accepts ownership for various projects and implements initiative and assists in the design and planning of POS projects, while providing tier two/three support for other engineers and support team members.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Provides strategic, innovative and cost-effective solutions to increase efficiency, reliability, and integration of our EUC services and operations.
2. Develops lifecycle and asset management processes.
3. Develops strategic management processes, including new application and upgrade evaluations.
4. Tests new or enhanced applications including systems enhancements and provides feedback.
5. Deployment of Windows using Microsoft Autopilot.
6. Project and Change Management: Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments. May serve as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department. Effectively engages in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor. Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
7. Problem Solving: Light supervision; works independently. Periodic review of work by manager or senior coworker. Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues.
8. Technical Skill: Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.
9. Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill's community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community.
10. Complete all other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 3-4 years experience.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Experience with Active Directory
4. Proven ability to provision and troubleshoot O365 accounts.
5. Basic network troubleshooting skills.
6. Experience in Windows Autopilot services setup and deployment.
7. Deep knowledge in Software packaging and distribution using SCCM.
8. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance, as this position may require some travel between locations and the transportation of equipment.
9. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
SKILLS:
1. Ability to work in a semi-autonomous and fast-paced environment.
2. Good Knowledge and experience in Intune configurations, policies and management.
3. Hands on experience in managing Windows Devices with co-management.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods. Repetitive use of hands is required in the form of fine manipulations while using a computer keyboard. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Vision is required to transfer written information into electronic databases. Prolonged periods of visual concentration are required. Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to travel between Goodwill locations as needed.
When determining placement within the salary range for this position Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands and other qualifying criteria. It is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the rage for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each case.
