General: The Sales Support Representative assists the Sales Team in expanding focus products, supporting Parachute Growth, and building strong relationships with referral sources. This role is essential for ensuring smooth order processing, supporting patient care, and driving account growth.
Reports To: Director of Digital Ordering
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Support the Sales Team by collecting and submitting documentation for pending patient orders.
• Be accessible for referrals to help work through any patient care challenges.
• Learn and understand the required information and documentation needed to proceed with patient orders.
• Manage escalations sent by the Sales Team.
• Work with referral source staff to ensure documentation is obtained, complete, and accurate.
• Work within EMR systems to obtain needed documentation to complete orders.
• Review cancelled orders and identify opportunities to recover and complete orders.
• Identify trends and report them to the Sales Team for referral education.
• Submit documentation to the Customer Service Department for processing in a timely manner.
• Support and grow digital ordering.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalent.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Physical Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience.
• Ability to work with Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Previous experience in referral intake and/or medical billing is preferred.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.21 per hour
