Job description

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our busy orthotics and prosthetics practice. As the first point of contact at our front desk, youโ€™ll play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the smooth operation of our office.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Welcome, check in, and check out patients with professionalism and care

  • Assist patients with intake forms and enter information accurately into our EMR system

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments

  • Answer phones and address patient questions promptly and courteously

  • Verify insurance eligibility and process authorizations for orthotic and prosthetic services

  • Maintain organized, accurate patient and office records

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong EMR/data entry and organizational skills

  • Experience with insurance verification/authorizations a plus

  • Knowledge of orthotics and prosthetics helpful but not required

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy office

  • Sensitivity to the needs of persons with disabilities
