Job description

We are an MDVIP concierge internal medicine practice in Manlius, NY committed to providing highly personalized healthcare. Our concierge model allows us to focus on patient relationships, preventive care, and exceptional service. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities : Room patients and obtain vital signs

Prepare patients, Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical duties as permitted. Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations. Coordinate laboratory testing and patient follow-up. Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

Assist physicians with patient care and office procedures. Support preventive care and wellness initiatives. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols

Qualifications : Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred

Previous internal medicine or primary care experience preferred

Phlebotomy and EKG experience strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal and patient-service skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Experience with EMR systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
