Amentum is seeking a Program Manager to join our team to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The Program Manager will serve as the single contract manager / director and representative authorized to interface with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and Government customer representatives concerning the Reagan Test Site Operations, Sustainment, Improvement, and Engineering (ROSIE) contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Possess the capability to lead project development from inception to deployment completion
  • Proven expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms
  • Demonstrate a capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or subcontracts of various types and complexity
  • Work with leadership to define long-term strategy, drive process improvements, and ensure programs align with business objectives
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and proactively remove roadblocks to keep the program on track
  • Provide contractual direction, ensure customer satisfaction while following all corporate policies
  • Effectively communicate program status, financial details, and requirements to a wide range of audiences from government customers to Sr. corporate leadership

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S Degree + 12 years of experience as a DoW Program Manager/Senior Manager or:
  • Masters Degree + 9 years of experience as a DoW Program Manager/Senior Manager
  • PMP or related certification
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to contribute to and execute long-term corporate strategy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex contractual and organizational challenges
  • Superior ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Management of personnel resources to motivate, develop and direct people as they work
  • Must have an active Secret clearance at time of application and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
