About the Position:
Kaplan Early Learning Company is seeking an Email Marketing Associate to support the execution and optimization of our email marketing efforts. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level marketer who enjoys writing, organizing campaigns, and learning how email supports broader demand generation and sales goals. This position offers opportunity for expanded growth based on performance.
The Email Marketing Associate will play a key role in planning, writing, building, and analyzing our weekly email communications while collaborating closely with content, design, and demand generation team members.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Email Strategy & Planning
  • Support execution of the email marketing strategy defined by marketing leadership
  • Develop messaging and product focus for individual emails within established campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain and update the email calendar to ensure timely and accurate delivery of weekly emails and workflows

Email Writing & Execution
  • Write email copy for all KELC emails, including:
  • Subject lines
  • Preview text
  • Body copy
  • Graphic headlines
  • Collaborate with the design team to stage emails in HubSpot
  • Review staged emails to ensure: Accuracy of content
  • Proper formatting
  • Functional links and CTAs

Scheduling & Campaign Management
  • Schedule all emails in HubSpot according to the Demand Gen content calendar
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of email workflows and basic automation, following established best practices and guidance

Analytics & Optimization
  • Monitor performance metrics for email campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement and performance through:
  • Messaging adjustments
  • Subject line testing
  • CTA optimization
  • Share performance insights and recommendations with marketing leadership

Lead Generation Support
  • Build and manage lead generation landing pages in HubSpot for email-driven campaigns
  • Create and maintain forms and associated workflows to support lead capture and follow-up

Position Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 - 3 years of email marketing experience, preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, highly professional corporate environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with design, content, and marketing team.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work efficiently with supportive team members.
  • Interest in email marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other email marketing platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices.
  • Exposure to analytics or campaign reporting (a plus).
  • Interest in or familiarity with early childhood education or education-focused brands (a plus).
