Electronics Department Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dynamic Electronics Department Manager to lead a growing team of custom electronics professionals, including project managers, technicians, and administrative staff. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, customer service, and innovation.

This is a full-time position requiring a 45-hour work week, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development of the electronics team.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture through coaching and mentorship.

  • Oversee scheduling, job tracking, project documentation, and communication throughout all phases of each project.

  • Partner with administrative staff to improve departmental efficiency and workflow.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), labor utilization, and resource planning to maximize productivity.

  • Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.

  • Conduct regular project review meetings to address challenges and maintain alignment across teams.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and high-profile installations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and integration partners.

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
