Deployment Technician (Returns Specialist)

Job description:

Fast-paced technology driven company with national scope seeks dependable employee to join our Technology Deployment Team. In order to succeed in this role, you must be a diligent worker with great attention to detail who likes being part of a team. Each team member is responsible for setting up, testing, packaging, receiving and shipping various technology products to our clients nationwide. They are also responsible for keeping an orderly workspace and coordinating projects to push the operation forward. This is not a basic warehouse job! The best candidate will work well in a professional office environment and communicate with multiple departments and managers every day.

Responsible for day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Organizing paper, electronic files, and invoices
  • Field emails from coworkers and clients (Outlook)
  • Initial test of credit card terminals and POS systems for repair assessment
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and incoming devices
  • Prepare, pack, and ship out products for repair
  • Receiving and organizing returned equipment

Qualification and Skill Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35lbs to 40 lbs
  • Familiarity with computers and electronics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager or similar software is a plus
  • Follow through on assignments efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform under pressure and multi-task
  • Professional approach to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong desire to learn with significant drive, ambition and motivation for success
