Job description

About the role: As an Electrical Supervisor with WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse, you will work on site at the Palisades nuclear site in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract reporting to the Site Manager at Palisades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics operations, staff, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards
  • Oversee electrical work related to maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting within nuclear facilities
  • Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Lead electrical crews, ensuring safe work practices and high-quality performance
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets industry codes and nuclear safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and safety checks

Qualifications:

  • Field experience in electrical work
  • Prior experience working in nuclear facilities or other regulated environments
  • Be able to manage crews and resolve issues on-site
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., journeyman electrician, OSHA training, nuclear site clearance) preferred
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
