Job description

Apex Service Partners is seeking a Plumbing & Electrical Operations Manager to join one of our established brands in Elkhart, Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to lead two growing service departments and play a key role in shaping their future. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll have the autonomy to influence strategy, develop high-performing teams, improve operational performance, and drive long-term growth.

While experience in plumbing, electrical, or home services is valued, we are ultimately seeking a strong people leader with a proven ability to grow teams and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop Plumbing and Electrical department leaders and team members.
  • Drive operational performance, accountability, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the General Manager to execute strategic initiatives and growth plans.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build scalable systems, processes, and best practices that support sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, customer service, sales, and field teams to optimize performance.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts.
  • Foster a high-performing, people-first culture focused on development and engagement.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in service-based industries.
  • Proven success leading teams and achieving operational and financial goals.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
  • Experience driving accountability, performance improvement, and team engagement.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing data and KPI-driven decision-making.
  • ServiceTitan or related software experience is a plus.
  • Trades experience is helpful but not required.
