Your Role
- Translate schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs into fully built, verified control panels.
- Mount and wire PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, power supplies, relays, terminal blocks, sensors, and safety devices.
- Route, label, and terminate wiring to OEM standards and customer specifications with impeccable organization.
- Execute point-to-point continuity checks and basic electrical verification.
- Integrate panels into equipment, assisting with machine power-up, checkout, troubleshooting, run-offs, and testing.
- Partner closely with assembly, engineering, and controls teams to resolve issues and complete rework or modifications.
- Follow documented procedures, codes, internal standards, and ISO quality requirements; record work in ERP (Syteline).
What Youโll NeedEducation & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2โ5 years of experience wiring industrial control panels preferred.
- Strong preference for OEM manufacturing or machine-building experience.
Technical Foundation
- Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Precision workmanship and attention to detail.
- Comfort with hand tools, electrical tools, and measurement devices.
- Understanding of basic industrial electrical safety practices.
- Effective communication; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Applied math skills for measurements, counts, and ratios.
Where Youโll Work
Production/manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, hot/cold extremes, and electrical hazards. Noise is typically moderate.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing/sitting; hands-on work with tools, wires, and components; frequent talking/hearing; occasional walking and reaching. Lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
