How does an EHS Safety professional typically collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance and a safe workplace?

EHS Safety professionals work closely with various departments, such as operations, human resources, and facilities management, to implement and monitor safety protocols. They conduct regular safety audits, lead training sessions, and provide guidance on regulatory compliance, ensuring that all teams are aware of their responsibilities. Collaboration often involves participating in cross-functional meetings, addressing department-specific risks, and fostering a safety-first culture throughout the organization. This teamwork is essential for identifying hazards, promoting best practices, and achieving overall workplace safety goals.

What jobs pay 10,000 a month without a degree?

EHS Safety professionals typically do not earn $10,000 a month without specialized experience or certifications. High-paying roles in safety management or consulting may reach that level, especially in industries like construction or manufacturing, but they usually require relevant training, certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH, and experience. Most jobs paying this amount without a degree are in sales, entrepreneurship, or skilled trades, rather than safety roles.

What is an EHS Safety professional?

An EHS Safety professional is responsible for ensuring that organizations comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards. They develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to protect employees, the public, and the environment from workplace hazards. Their duties often include conducting risk assessments, leading safety training, investigating incidents, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws. EHS Safety professionals play a crucial role in fostering a safe and healthy work environment while minimizing the environmental impact of business operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an EHS Safety professional, and why are they important?

To thrive as an EHS Safety professional, you need a solid understanding of environmental and occupational health regulations, risk assessment, and safety management, often backed by a degree in safety, environmental science, or a related field. Familiarity with safety management systems (such as ISO 45001), incident reporting software, and certifications like CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or OSHA training is typically expected. Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills help you effectively promote safety culture and compliance within an organization. These skills are crucial for minimizing workplace hazards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a safe working environment.

What jobs pay $2000 a day?

These positions typically require advanced certifications, extensive experience, and often involve working on complex or high-risk projects. Earnings depend on industry, location, and level of expertise.

What is the highest paid safety job?

The highest paid safety jobs typically include roles such as Safety Director, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, or Corporate Safety Executive, often requiring advanced certifications like CSP or CIH. It's grocery shopping reimagined - and we're just getting started.

If you're passionate about innovation, care deeply about what people eat, and want to help build the future of food, we'd love to meet you.

  • Design and facilitate safety and operational training programs for warehouse, production, and transportation employees using adult learning best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, HR, and Leadership teams to identify training needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
  • Support DOT, OSHA, EPA, FMCSA, and other regulatory compliance initiatives through ongoing employee education and training programs.
  • Leverage training metrics, compliance data, audits, and operational trends to identify gaps, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain annual training calendars, training records, compliance reporting, and audit documentation.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and supervisors on safety procedures, employee development, and training effectiveness.
  • Coordinate retraining initiatives related to process updates, operational changes, safety incidents, or compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all training materials, SOPs, and learning content remain current, accurate, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards.

Promote and reinforce a culture focused on safety awareness, accountability, employee engagement, and recognition.

Maintain established EHS systems and support implementation of new training technologies, programs, and processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training best practices.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, FMCSA, DOT, NIOSH, and other applicable safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
