EHS Coordinators often encounter resistance to change when introducing new safety protocols, especially from employees accustomed to established routines. Effective communication and training are essential to ensure everyone understands the benefits and requirements of the new procedures. What is an EHS Coordinator?

An EHS Coordinator, or Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator, is a professional responsible for ensuring that a workplace complies with environmental regulations and maintains safe and healthy working conditions. EHS Coordinators play a key role in preventing accidents, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Their work helps protect both employees and the environment while supporting organizational goals.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an EHS Coordinator, and why are they important?
