Familiarity with major EHR platforms like Epic or Cerner, as well as experience with training software and system configuration, is typically required. What is an EHR credentialed trainer?

An EHR Credentialed Trainer is a healthcare professional who is certified to train staff on how to use electronic health record (EHR) systems. They are responsible for developing and delivering training programs to ensure that healthcare providers and staff can effectively use EHR software in their daily workflows. These trainers often have a combination of clinical experience and expertise in information technology. Their role is crucial during EHR implementations, upgrades, and when onboarding new employees. They help ensure that users are comfortable with the system, which can lead to better patient care and improved data accuracy.

How does an EHR credentialed trainer typically collaborate with clinical staff during a system rollout?

An EHR Credentialed Trainer works closely with clinical staff by conducting hands-on training sessions, answering questions, and providing on-the-spot support during and after electronic health record system rollouts.
