Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Western New York

An established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout across Western New York.

You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial buildings, educational facilities, municipal projects, public safety facilities, multifamily developments, and renovations, working with a collaborative team that values integrity, quality, and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
  • Review contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project costs and maintain profitability.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead owner meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
  • Background in education, municipal, multifamily, institutional, or commercial construction preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
