Description:Sales Coordinator (Marketing & Content Focus)

WAND-TV | Decatur, IL

WAND-TV is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support our local sales team while also helping drive creative marketing and social media efforts.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the operational side of business and the creative side of content—supporting revenue-generating teams while also contributing to digital growth and audience engagement.

***The pay range for this position is $20-$22 hourly based on experience.


What You Will Do
  • Support the local sales team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks
  • Pull and distribute weekly sales reports to internal teams and clients
  • Answer and route incoming calls for the sales department
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and conference room scheduling
  • Prepare sales materials, presentations, and client-facing documents
  • Enter and manage sales contracts and makegoods in WideOrbit
  • Assist with invoicing and account maintenance for Account Executives
  • Maintain organized digital files and folders within SharePoint

Marketing & Content Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create engaging social media content across platforms
  • Oversee short-form video strategy, including TikTok and other emerging platforms
  • Film and edit video content for digital use
  • Track and report on social media growth and performance
  • Present social media insights and strategy updates to station leadership

Team & Culture Support:

  • Assist in planning team events, sales contests, and internal initiatives
  • Support company recognition programs, including Block Awards and newsletters
  • Help onboard and train new Account Executives and front desk staff

Requirements:
