Job description

About Prophecy

Prophecy is building the next generation AI-powered data prep and analysis platform. Our platform enables business analysts and data teams to transform raw data into reliable, production-ready datasets and insights faster, using modern data infrastructure and AI-driven capabilities. We work with leading enterprises to simplify how organizations prepare, analyze, and operationalize data, while maintaining strong governance, security, and operational control. Our mission is to make it dramatically easier for organizations to turn complex data into trusted insights that drive decisions.

About the Roles

We are looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships who can do both: drive revenue through Prophecy's partner ecosystem, and build an effective partner program. This is an early-stage, high-ownership motion, the playbook is still being written, and you'll have real influence over how we engage partners, what good looks like for partner-sourced pipeline, and how we build durable co-sell relationships with Snowflake, Databricks, GCP field and partner teams.

You will sit at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and strategy, owning partner performance while building the programs and processes that scale it. You'll work directly with our AEs and SEs to bring partners into deals at the right moments, and you'll serve as the primary point of contact for our strategic cloud and ecosystem partners.

What You'll Own

Partner Revenue & Pipeline

  • Own and exceed partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue targets on a quarterly basis
  • Proactively generate pipeline through Snowflake, Databricks, and GCP field AEs and PDMs - building the relationships that produce qualified, sourced opportunities
  • Drive joint account mapping and target account activation against Prophecy's ICP: enterprises running Alteryx on Snowflake or Databricks
  • Activate co-sell motions through marketplace programs (GCP Marketplace, Snowflake Partner Network, Databricks Marketplace) and joint field events
  • Work with Marketing to design co-marketing initiatives and demand gen activities that drive inbound from partner channels

Deal Execution & Co-Selling

  • Serve as the Prophecy quarterback on partner-sourced and partner-influenced deals - from discovery through close
  • Work directly with AEs and SEs to bring cloud partners into active deal cycles at the right moments, with clear roles, clean handoffs, and shared accountability for outcomes
  • Own the Prophecy Express offer and Alteryx migration motion in partnership with Snowflake, Databricks, and GCP field teams
  • Manage deal registration, co-sell hygiene, and pipeline tracking across partner portals and Salesforce

Partner Relationships & Enablement

  • Build and maintain working relationships with cloud partner field AEs, PDMs, and alliance managers - at the level required to generate consistent pipeline referrals
  • Serve as Prophecy's primary point of contact for strategic partner communications, QBRs, and co-sell coordination
  • Keep partners informed and enabled on Prophecy's core positioning, displacement motion, and key use cases - enough to refer and co-sell confidently

Foundation Building

  • Contribute to co-sell playbooks, partner GTM frameworks, and joint solution narratives as the motion matures
  • Track partner pipeline health, forecast partner-attached revenue, and report weekly on pipeline created and deals advanced
  • Collaborate with RevOps to ensure partner attribution, CRM hygiene, and accurate sourced vs. influenced reporting

What We're Looking For

Preferred

  • 6+ years in partner sales, channel sales, or alliances at a B2B SaaS company - with a quota and a track record to show for it
  • Proven ability to generate pipeline and close revenue through cloud ecosystem partners, not just manage relationships
  • Experience co-selling with hyperscaler field teams (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Comfortable operating as both a hunter and a builder - you can work deals and design the motion around them
  • Strong co-selling instincts - you know when to bring a partner in, how to position their involvement, and how to keep deals moving
  • Data-driven and operationally disciplined - you forecast with integrity, keep CRM clean, and surface blockers early

Strongly Preferred

  • Background in data engineering, analytics, or the modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Alteryx)
  • Familiarity with Alteryx displacement or legacy platform migration motions
  • Prior work at or with Snowflake, Databricks, or GCP - with existing field-level relationships you can activate
  • Experience with marketplace co-sell mechanics (GCP Marketplace, Snowflake Marketplace, AWS Marketplace)

Seniority: Mid to Staff Level

Location: Bay Area, CA or Remote

What Prophecy Offers:

  • Prophecy covers 99% of employee health insurance premiums and 75% for dependents
  • Discretionary allowance for cell phone, wifi, gym memberships, wellness, and more
  • Flexible PTO
  • Professional development allowance
  • Company sponsored Long Term Disability and Life Insurance, FSA/HSA, dental, vision
  • Ability to have your fingerprint on an innovative product
  • End-to-end ownership of your projects.
  • Benefits and perks may vary per country
  • At Prophecy, we hire for merit and foster an inclusive culture where people from diverse backgrounds can excel and do their best work. We take great care to ensure that our hiring practices are inclusive and meet equal employment opportunity standards.
