Ediscovery Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the process of identifying, collecting, preserving, and producing electronically stored information (ESI) for legal cases and investigations. They manage the technical and legal aspects of electronic discovery, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Ediscovery Managers coordinate between legal teams, IT staff, and external vendors to streamline workflows and reduce risks related to electronic evidence. Their expertise is crucial in complex litigation, regulatory matters, and internal investigations where digital data is central.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ediscovery manager?

To thrive as an Ediscovery Manager, you need expertise in legal procedures, electronic data management, and a solid understanding of the eDiscovery Reference Model, often supported by a degree in law, information management, or a related field.
