Location: Fully onsite role, M-F (~40 hrs per week) at Worldwide Golf Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA

Summary:
Our Senior EDI Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems that enable secure, automated exchange of business documents (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices) between organizations and their trading partners. In a compliance context, the role also ensures that all EDI processes adhere to industry standards, data security regulations, and contractual obligations. The Senior EDI Analyst ensures that electronic data exchange is not only technically sound but also legally and operationally compliant, reducing risks and improving supply chain efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • System Management & Integration: Configure, test, and maintain EDI connections for US and other countries; integrate EDI with ERP, SPS ,Analytics, and warehouse systems.
  • Onboarding & Configuration: Set up new trading partners, create and update EDI data maps for US and other countries, and ensure accurate translation between internal formats and EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON).
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure EDI operations meet regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements, including data privacy, security, and audit standards.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor daily EDI transactions, resolve transmission failures, and maintain operational continuity .
  • Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain EDI process documentation; train internal users on EDI procedures and tools
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct or support audits of EDI systems to verify adherence to standards and policies

Desired Qualifications:
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, not required.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN, VPN) is required
  • Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools is required
  • Experience with SPS Commerce is required; SAP experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of SQL, Java, C#, or Python for data handling and integration is a plus, but not required
  • Understanding of network/system administration basics is required

Compliance Skills:
  • Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and industry-specific compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to interpret and apply contractual EDI requirements.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication skills for liaising with IT, business, and external partners.
