Job Description

Do you have EDI experience working with a manufacturing organization selling into the retail space. We have an opportunity for you! EDI Specialist needed in the NW Suburbs. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to $65k with full benefits!

EDI Specialist Job Description:

  • This person will review invoices for accuracy and identify any issues in the invoicing process working with the firm's EDI process. 
  • Managing and resolving day-to-day B2B issues. 
  • Maintain up-to-date EDI transaction specifications for each customer. 
  • Process incoming EDI orders, generate shipping documents for the warehouse, send ASN's as required, and invoice all EDI orders. 
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Troubleshoot EDI transaction errors. 
  • Assist accounting staff with month-end closing by ensuring all sales orders and invoices are in our accounting system. Working specifically with retailers (such as Amazon).
  • ADDITIONAL TASKS: Research customer charge backs and disputes.
Qualifications

EDI Specialist Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of EDI experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment with programming / mapping experience required.
  • Experience working with EDI data as it relates to invoicing. 
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot errors with EDI and develop solutions. 
  • Experience with reporting on monthly transactions. 
  • Experience working with Invoicing for accounts and identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
