This role will be responsible for architecting scalable, resilient solutions that support complex document exchange, transformation, and orchestration workflows across internal and external partners, including government and defense systems. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in EDI standards, message processing systems, and integration architectures, and can bridge traditional EDI systems with modern, cloud-native, event-driven platforms. This is for a Government project for US Department of Defense.

Interpret logistics transaction sets, code values, and business rules. Design mappings between DLMS/EDI formats and internal BYDS canonical data models. Have an understanding of modern APIs and event streaming concepts.

  • Cloud & Modernization Strategy - lead modernization of legacy DLMS/EDI systems into cloud-native platforms and enable API-based DLMS/EDI-driven workflows.
  • Data & Canonical Modeling - Define and govern canonical data models for enterprise-wide integration. Ensure consistency across DLMS/EDI transactions, APIs, and internal data models
  • Collaboration & Leadership - work closely with product, engineering, and external partners (including government stakeholders). Mentor engineering teams on DLMS/EDI concepts and integration best practices. Participate in design reviews and architectural governance.

Required Qualifications
