Job description

Company Summary

EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity. Our business reach spans satellite television service, live-streaming and on-demand programming, smart home installation services, mobile plans and products.
Today, our brands include Boost Mobile, DISH TV, Gen Mobile, Hughes and Sling TV.

Our marketing and advertising teams bring a unique blend of skills to tell the DISH and Sling story. Whether coordinating high-level messaging for the C-suite, interacting with journalists to drive breaking news or launching a campaign around our latest innovation, our team lends their voice to the future of communication.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person on-site interview.

The Program Manager of Digital Strategy & Optimization will architect and lead the enterprise-wide experimentation roadmap for DISH and Sling TV. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for transforming site and customer insights into high-growth revenue engines. Rather than simply executing requests, you will serve as a strategic consultant to the business—prioritizing high-potential opportunities, standardizing testing methodologies, and scaling a world-class personalization program. Your mission is to maximize the performance of our site experiences by creating a frictionless, data-backed path to purchase that converts browsers into long-term subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a centralized, multi-quarter testing roadmap; shift the program from reactive "one-off" tests to a proactive strategy focused on optimization, personalization and long-term sales growth in close partnership with our Site Merch and Personalization leads
  • Establish a rigorous framework for assessing optimization opportunities; use a "Value vs. Effort" scoring model to ensure resources are focused on the initiatives with the highest potential for impact on dish.com and sling.com
  • Lead cross-functional workshops with cross functional teams to translate business pain points into sophisticated A/B and multivariate test plans that yield statistically significant and actionable results
  • Direct the sales funnel analysis, identifying drop-off points and friction in the user journey; leverage Quantum Metric and Adobe Target to identify opportunities to improve performance and test into those strategies
  • Spearhead a high-visibility cross-functional workstream dedicated to conversion improvement; act as the primary bridge between operations teams and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment
  • Ensure we are fully utilizing our MarTech stack by partnering across teams, and staying ahead of industry trends in AI optimization
  • Serve as the internal evangelist for a "test-and-learn" culture, sharing insights and best practices across the organization to ensure that every digital touchpoint is informed by data
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (Marketing, Statistics, Economics, etc.). An MBA or specialized certifications (e.g., CXL, Adobe Certified Expert) is highly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing or e-commerce, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and A/B testing leadership on high-traffic, enterprise-level web properties

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to move beyond tactical execution to build and manage a holistic experimentation roadmap that directly correlates digital testing to bottom-line revenue and subscriber growth
  • Understanding of experimentation design (test duration, sample size, significance, and power) and the ability to explain complex statistical outcomes to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of Adobe Experience Cloud (specifically Adobe Target and AEM) and behavioral analytics platforms (e.g., Quantum Metric, ContentSquare, or FullStory) to drive personalization at scale
  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple data sources in cohesive insights and actions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a "consultative" leadership style; proven success in navigating complex organizational structures to influence across teams including Product, Brand and Media teams
  • Organizational skills with experience using framework models (e.g., PIE, RICE, or ICE) to prioritize high-volume testing backlogs across multiple brands or business units
  • Fluency in modern UX/UI principles, mobile-first design, and emerging digital trends (AI-driven personalization) to ensure the optimization program remains industry-leading
