SEO amp; AI Discoverability Analyst
Location: Sacramento, CA 95826
Remote Status: Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical SEO amp; AI Discoverability Analyst to help drive organic growth across a portfolio of large-scale ecommerce websites. This is not a traditional content SEO role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with enterprise ecommerce SEO, technical SEO diagnostics, analytics, search visibility reporting, and emerging AI discovery platforms. This role will focus on improving visibility across Google Search, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and other AI-driven discovery experiences. The candidate must be capable of analyzing large SEO datasets, diagnosing traffic changes, identifying crawl and indexation issues, and translating insights into actionable growth strategies. The ideal candidate should understand how enterprise ecommerce architecture, product data, structured data, content quality, site performance, internal linking, and technical SEO impact both traditional search rankings and AI retrieval systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO and AI discoverability performance across Belami's ecommerce portfolio
  • Analyze organic performance, rankings, AI referral traffic, crawl efficiency, and conversion trends
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues including indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site health
  • Track and optimize visibility across AI search surfaces (AI Overviews, citation systems, and answer engines)
  • Build performance dashboards using GA4, Search Console, BI tools, and SEMrush
  • Partner with development teams on technical SEO implementations and site optimization improvements
  • Optimize category pages, product pages, internal linking, and site architecture for search performance
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search opportunity discovery
  • Monitor algorithm updates and evolving SEO and AI search best practices
  • Drive measurable improvements in organic traffic, AI discoverability, technical SEO health, and overall search visibility
Required Skills amp; Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of AI discoverability, AI referral traffic, and AI search visibility trends
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets and identify actionable insights
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge including crawl / indexation, canonicals, structured data, Core Web vitals, and sitemaps
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Education / Experience:
