Job description

E-Commerce Associate — Make an Impact on Our Online Store

About the Role
We’re looking for an organized, detail-focused E-Commerce Associate to help run and improve our online store. You’ll manage product listings, keep our site accurate and up to date, optimize for search, and make sure customers have a smooth shopping experience. If you enjoy solving problems, learning new tools, and seeing your work directly improve the business, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, update, and maintain product listings and categories on our BigCommerce store.
  • Keep product details, pricing, images, and inventory accurate across the site.
  • Optimize product pages and content using SEO best practices to help customers find what they need.
  • Review the website for errors, broken links, missing info, or inconsistencies and fix them quickly.
  • Help improve site navigation, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Manage promotions, banners, landing pages, and merchandising updates.
  • Use inventory management tools to track stock and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work with search tools to improve product search results and customer experience.
  • Partner with marketing, purchasing, customer service, and warehouse teams to support company goals.
  • Test new website features, updates, and integrations.
  • Review site performance and suggest ways to improve.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed, including organizing products, verifying inventory, and receiving merchandise.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience managing products on BigCommerce or a similar e-commerce platform (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail — you catch errors others miss.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, including metadata, product optimization, URL structure, and keywords.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and how they impact online shopping.
  • Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with search tools or platforms such as Doofinder, Algolia, or Elasticsearch.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in vaping, smoke shop, convenience retail, or consumer packaged goods.
  • Knowledge of vaping products, hardware, e-liquids, nicotine products, and accessories.
  • Experience with product photography, image editing, or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or e-commerce reporting tools.
  • Experience with email marketing, SMS marketing, or customer retention tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with changing priorities.
  • A proactive problem solver who takes ownership.
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • A strong team player who communicates well across departments.
  • Eager to learn new systems and improve processes.
  • Passionate about creating a great online shopping experience.
