YourOnlineMarketplace, Inc. (YOM) is a small business with 16 employees located in East Aurora, NY that sells music and video collections through online marketplaces. At YOM, we pride ourselves on offering a creative and flexible culture and opportunities for advancement within the company.
Job Summary: As a part of YOMs Catalog team, the Marketplace Listing Specialist will create, optimize and edit product listings for marketplace platforms, primarily Seller Central. This position is responsible for turning product information into visually appealing listings that are accurate, compliant and competitive within YOMs selling platforms.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and upload product listings to marketplaces, primarily Amazon Seller Central
  • Source, compile and edit product images, adhering to company guidelines
  • Learn how to use YOMs proprietary inventory software, use it for daily and weekly tasks
  • Perform media catalog maintenance tasks such as: updating existing listings, suppression resolution and attribute corrections
  • Check various work queues daily and ensure tasks are completed timely
  • Keep records of completed and updated listings, and give reports to supervisor
  • Communicate with other members of the catalog department on a weekly basis
  • Check reputable sources for industry news such as Billboard, Metacritic, etc
  • Collaborate with other departments to generate and review prospective listings
  • Analyze competitive listings performance and competitors to enhance YOMs catalog

Qualifications:
  • Experience using inventory management systems and e-commerce software including but not limited to: Amazon, eBay or Walmart is preferred, at least 1 year of experience in a related field is desired
  • Experience preferred with product image sourcing and image editing software, such as Photoshop, Boxshot, ImageKit
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn how to use new technologies and operating systems
  • Adaptable in a fast-changing E-Commerce environment

Job Details: This is a Full-Time, in office position, with weekly hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. Shifts will be Monday through Friday. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $21 an hour depending on experience. Training will be provided to ensure your comfort and success. The training schedule will include reduced hours to support acclimating you into your position and environment.
