Job description

 JOB SUMMARY:

The eCommerce Content Strategist I will be part of a dynamic and growing team responsible for delivering best-in-class customer experiences across four unique sales channels. This role supports the development, optimization, and execution of eCommerce product content and voice-of-the-customer initiatives. The Content Strategist will assist with product listing content, monitoring customer feedback through ratings and reviews, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, engaging, and optimized content across eCommerce platforms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Rating and Review Program 

• Supports existing product listings by identifying potential issues with products, coordinating with marketing, product development, and operations to address concerns, and seeding additional reviews to improve listing health.

• Monitors and responds to customer questions across all eCommerce channels, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

• Reviews ratings and customer feedback to identify trends and potential opportunities to improve product content or customer experience.

• Collaborates with the ratings and reviews syndication partner to ensure our products are being properly published to our partner sites.

Support for eCommerce Content

• Supports new product launches and ongoing maintenance of product listings across eCommerce channels by working collaboratively within American Textile Company and with outside vendors to gather and publish best-in-class copy, images, video, and rich multimedia where applicable.

• Composes SEO-optimized copy and other written assets for retailer product detail pages (PDP’s).

• Reviews product listings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring product information, imagery, and content remain current and consistent across eCommerce platforms.

• Works with content syndication partners to ensure product content is being properly distributed and published to our partner sites.

• Assists in monitoring product listing performance and supports efforts to optimize content for search visibility and customer engagement.

• Maintains organized documentation of content assets, updates, and syndication activities.

• Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, product development, sales, and operations to ensure content accuracy and alignment across eCommerce platforms.

• Supports additional eCommerce initiatives, special projects, and process improvements as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, plus 0-2 years of eCommerce, digital marketing, or related experience; equivalent relevant, cumulative work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 

• Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and eCommerce content best practices

• Experience with keyword research tools

• Familiarity with BazaarVoice, PowerReviews, or other ratings and reviews platforms

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk

• Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer

• Ability to occasionally stand/walk
