The fast-growing Ecommerce Division of Hartville Hardware is looking to grow its Customer Service team. As we sell across multiple marketplace platforms - including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart - customers reach out by phone and email with questions, comments, concerns, and orders. As we continue to grow, our ability to keep up with the volume of customer contacts is crucial to our continued success.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about providing world-class customer service and wants to be part of our growing customer service team.

• Provide direct inbound customer service by phone and email for ecommerce consumers
• Suggest process improvements as you spot opportunities
• Work with the Customer Service Team, Warehouse personnel, and Buyers to deliver top-notch service from front end to back end - order listing accuracy, order placement, order tracking, and processing of returns
• Other duties as needed

• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer knowledge preferred
• Teachable, with good written and verbal communication skills

• Technology Skills:Basic computer understanding, with a willingness to learn our online marketplace and ordering systems
• Communication:Able to effectively communicate by phone, email, and in person with management, team members, and customers - conveying a professional, helpful image, with thankfulness and empathy especially valued with customers
• Judgment:Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
• Self-Motivated:Holds themselves accountable, takes initiative, takes pride in their work, and strives for continuous improvement
