Newberry Health is seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Navigator/Nursing Supervisor (RN) to join our exceptional team, typically working Monday - Friday 7-3 p.m.


Located in beautiful Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. We are proud of our strong leadership, dedicated staff, and commitment to providing high-quality care for our patients.


Job Summary:


The ED Navigator/Nurse Supervisor will provide patients with assistance, education, and coaching to reduce the number of ambulatory care ED visits for members and increase the number of members enrolled in the ED Navigation Program who received at least one scheduled appointment or referral for an ambulatory or preventive care visit by helping to coordinate care outside of the ED setting. The ED Navigator/Nurse Supervisor will work to develop a program that identifies equity gaps in care, collects data, and creates actionable items to address barriers to care. Provide education and training to team members and collaborate with local, county, and state agencies to enhance population health. Also responsible for directing and supervising hospital functions and activities throughout the facility.ย 

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Minimum two (2) years' experience in an acute care setting with one year of management or supervision in acute care setting.

Experience in the emergency/acute setting preferred.


Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Current RN license in the state of South Carolina.

BLS/ ACLS/PALS required.
