LMI is seeking an E-learning Developer to join our team and deliver high-impact solutions directly supporting our onsite customer. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in web and application development to build, maintain, and enhance mission-focused digital solutions, with a primary focus on online learning tools and interactive courseware. You will be responsible for transforming detailed requirements provided by instructional designers and subject matter experts into fully functional, user-friendly, and secure products that help drive our customer’s objectives forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive web-based applications and e-learning modules using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python in compliance with government standards.
  • Implement technical solutions and integrate multimedia assets (e.g., video, animation, simulations) as specified by project requirements.
  • Collaborate onsite with instructional designers, graphic designers, and subject matter experts to clarify specifications and deliver effective digital products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with course components and application features, ensuring accessibility and compliance with security and quality standards.
  • Update and refactor existing digital products to meet evolving technical and instructional requirements set by the customer.
  • Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance, security, and a consistent user experience across platforms and devices.
  • Support the deployment, integration, and ongoing maintenance of digital solutions within customer-approved learning management systems (LMS) and IT environments.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development relevant to the government and online learning sectors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ FS poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional development experience, preferably in e-learning or related digital content production.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Proven experience integrating multimedia (e.g., video, audio, animation, interactive simulations) into online courses or educational projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with training, instructional design, or educational technology concepts.
  • Prior work with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) for online learning content.
