We are seeking a highly driven and strategic E-Commerce Director to lead and scale our global e-commerce business. This role goes beyond day-to-day management, it is responsible for driving growth, expanding into new channels and markets, optimizing profitability, and building a best-in-class e-commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of our digital sales channels, identifying new opportunities, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring we remain competitive across all platforms. This individual will play a key role in shaping the future of our e-commerce strategy, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

  • Own and lead the overall e-commerce strategy with a strong focus on revenue growth, margin improvement, and global expansion
  • Identify, evaluate, and launch new sales channels and marketplaces (domestic and international)
  • Drive expansion into new geographies, ensuring localized strategies for pricing, fulfillment, and compliance
  • Continuously assess market trends, competitor positioning, and emerging platforms to maintain a competitive edge
  • Define and execute channel-specific product assortment strategies to ensure optimal product placement and performance across all e-commerce platforms

Channel Optimization & Profitability

  • Optimize performance across all channels (Amazon, Walmart, Mercado, Ebay, Shopify, and others) with a focus on maximizing ROI and reducing cost structures
  • Develop and execute strategies to lower marketplace fees, improve net margins, and negotiate better terms where applicable
  • Monitor and manage key metrics including ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, conversion rates, and contribution margins
  • Implement pricing, promotion, and assortment strategies to improve both top-line and bottom-line performance

Marketplace & Partner Management

  • Own relationships with major e-commerce platforms and partners, ensuring we leverage all available programs, tools, and growth opportunities
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, policy changes, and new features to maintain compliance and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unlock additional revenue streams and partnership opportunities

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end e-commerce operations including product listings, inventory allocation, fulfillment strategy, and order flow
  • Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient fulfillment across FBA, WFS, and direct channels
  • Ensure inventory health across all channels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory

Data, Analytics & Decision Making

  • Leverage data to drive decision-making across pricing, promotions, inventory, and channel strategy
  • Build reporting frameworks and dashboards to track performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights for leadership

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central point of ownership for all e-commerce initiatives across the organization
  • Lead regular business reviews and strategy sessions with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Partner closely with marketing, operations, finance, and refurbishment teams to align execution with business goals
  • Support and guide the E-commerce Specialist in daily execution and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, or digital channel leadership
  • Proven track record of scaling e-commerce operations and driving measurable revenue growth
  • Strong experience with multi-channel platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Ebay, and emerging marketplaces)
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics (ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, contribution margin)
  • Experience with Rithum (Channel Advisor) or similar channel management platforms
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-driven approach
  • Experience in global e-commerce expansion is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of fulfillment models (FBA, WFS, 3PL, direct fulfillment)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work performed in both office and production environments
  • Exposure to warehouse conditions including noise and equipment movement
  • May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
