Job description

We are seeking a high-impact, growth-driven driven leader to own and profitably scale Commando’s global ecommerce business. This role carries full responsibility for the digital P&L and is accountable for delivering profitable, sustained revenue growth across direct-to-consumer channels.

The Head of Global Ecommerce & Digital Growth will lead the strategy and execution across ecommerce, performance marketing, and the end-to-end customer experience—driving acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value. This is a critical leadership role for an operator who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, with a relentless focus on results. You will make investment decisions, allocate budget across channels, and optimize the digital ecosystem to maximize contribution margin and long-term growth.

Location: South Burlington, VT | Full-time | Hybrid (3–4 days/week in office) Pay Range: $130-$180k

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Digital P&L; drive global ecommerce revenue, profitability, and contribution margin
  • Establish and manage forecasts, budgets, and performance targets
  • Optimize nCAC, nROAS, LTV, MER, and channel efficiency to ensure scalable, profitable growth
  • Develop and execute a global digital growth strategy, aligning with brand marketing to increase consumer awareness and acquisition
  • Scale customer acquisition through paid and performance marketing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Affiliates, etc.)
  • Identify and unlock new growth channels (CTV, influencers, partnerships, emerging platforms)
  • Lead site strategy, UX/UI, and conversion rate optimization, owning the site experience
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive AOV, conversion, and customer engagement through merchandising, personalization, etc
  • Partner cross-functionally with brand marketing to ensure best-in-class digital product storytelling and launch execution
  • Build and optimize CRM strategy across email, SMS, and loyalty; increasing LTV and retention
  • Establish a rigorous performance and attribution framework across all digital channels
  • Leverage MTA tools (e.g., Northbeam) and incrementality testing to inform spend allocations
  • Translate data and consumer insights into clear, actionable growth strategies
  • Ensure end-to-end best in class customer experience— from UX to customer service
Qualifications:
  • 8–10+ years of experience in ecommerce, growth, or digital leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue growth in DTC or consumer brands.
  • Strong expertise in performance marketing, conversion optimization, and digital analytics.
  • Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo required.
  • Experience with MTA / Attribution tools is highly preferred.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and focused on profitable growth.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
  • Collaborative and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
