Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Observability Architect with deep expertise in Dynatrace to design, implement, and optimize enterprise observability frameworks. This role will drive end-to-end monitoring strategies across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and containerized environments to ensure performance, availability, and operational resilience.
The ideal candidate will act as a strategic leader in observability architecture, enabling proactive monitoring, automation, and AIOps integration.
Key Responsibilities
Observability Architecture & Strategy
  • Design and implement end-to-end observability solutions using Dynatrace.
  • Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for monitoring.
  • Ensure scalability, high availability, and performance of observability platforms.
Dynatrace Implementation
  • Configure and optimize Dynatrace OneAgent, AppMon, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and cloud integrations.
  • Design synthetic monitoring, custom metrics, dashboards, and alerting strategies.
  • Optimize monitoring coverage across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Cloud & Container Monitoring
  • Implement monitoring solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Design observability for Kubernetes and Docker-based containerized applications.
  • Ensure comprehensive visibility across microservices architectures.
Integration & Automation
  • Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM, AIOps, and logging platforms.
  • Utilize scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate deployment and monitoring workflows.
  • Work with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible for monitoring automation.
Collaboration & Enablement
  • Partner with DevOps, SRE, IT, and business teams to align observability strategies with enterprise goals.
  • Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives on observability best practices.
  • Provide architectural guidance during modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in enterprise monitoring and observability architecture.
  • Deep expertise in Dynatrace (OneAgent, AppMon, RUM, Cloud integrations).
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Experience monitoring containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of AIOps concepts and integrations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of monitoring protocols such as SNMP, REST APIs, and log forwarding.
