Okta Engineer Role Overview:
Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions using the Okta platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions using the Okta platform.
  • Integration & Configuration: Configure and maintain Okta SSO, MFA, and directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).
  • API Development: Utilize Okta APIs and SDKs to automate user provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and security policies to secure user access.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve authentication and authorization issues, providing technical support to meet SLAs.
  • System Design: Design high-availability solutions, including load balancing and failover configurations.
  • Okta Expertise: Deep knowledge of Okta Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API utilization.
  • Protocols: Proficiency in SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, LDAP, and RADIUS.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Scripting (Python, Bash), SQL, and REST APIs.
  • Background: Experience with SaaS application integration (e.g., Workday, GSuite, Jira).
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications: Okta Certified Developer or Consultant preferred.
