Job Title: Production Coordinator
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (1275 Busch Parkway)
Pay Range: $55K–$65K (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Production Coordinator with our client located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Our client is a long-standing manufacturing organization with over 100 years in business, specializing in branded consumer goods and apparel products. This is a direct hire opportunity with an exclusive client.


This position is 100% onsite and supports a fast-paced production and customer service environment. The Production Coordinator will play a key role in managing domestic production orders, coordinating with factories and suppliers, maintaining ERP data, and ensuring clear communication between production, customer service, and external vendors.


Production Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Send daily domestic production orders to factories and monitor progress to ensure timely execution
  • Follow up on shipping timelines, delays, and order status updates with factories
  • Coordinate ordering, tracking, and shipment of production-related materials and components
  • Maintain logs of incoming materials and ensure accurate tracking of production items
  • Create and maintain item numbers and product data within Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Export, organize, and analyze data in Excel for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Distribute required materials to factories as needed
  • Run inventory and stock reports to support production planning and forecasting
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service regarding delayed orders or production issues
  • Proactively communicate production delays to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Update purchase orders with revised receipt dates for international vendors
  • Track supplier and factory performance to ensure production timelines are met
  • Support cross-functional communication between production, purchasing, and customer service teams


Production Coordinator Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in production coordination, supply chain, customer service, or similar role
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills including data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally
