Calyx Driver
Calyx Living is actively seeking a Part Time Driver for our assisted living community located in beautiful North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to transporting residents to scheduled physician appointments, outings, performing light office work, assisting residents in and out of vehicle, inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips, and providing a comfortable environment for seniors as they're transported to various off- site events.
Must have a "safety first" attitude towards all of our residents and staff.
Qualifications
  • Current NC Driver's license
  • Prior experience driving in senior living setting strongly preferred
  • Friendly and accommodating
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to interact with residents in a positive and helpful manner
  • Strong customer service skills are a must
  • Genuine interest in the safety and well-being of residents
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
