Contract-to-Hire Associate Attorney (Junior-Mid Level Litigation)Location: Los Angeles, CA (Downtown Los Angeles)
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) upon conversion to permanent employment
Compensation: $80-$85/hour, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM PST
LHH is partnering with a respected boutique litigation firm in Los Angeles seeking a Contract-to-Hire Associate Attorney to support a diverse civil litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated matters.
Responsibilities- Assist with all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal research memoranda, and other court filings
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
- Support trial preparation and case strategy development
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on complex litigation matters
Qualifications- 1-4 years of civil litigation experience in a law firm environment
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in business litigation, real estate litigation, commercial litigation, or related practice areas is preferred
