Job Summary:
The Lead House Coordinator supports the daily operations of an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) by coordinating staffing, schedules, and household operations while promoting person-centered care. This role works closely with the Nurse, QIDP, and DSP team to ensure individuals’ needs are met, supports staff development, and helps maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The Lead House Coordinator serves as both a leader and hands-on team member within the home.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Review and approve PTO requests and manage schedule changes due to call-offs or emergencies.
  • Coordinate transportation for appointments and community activities.
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of staff.
  • Provide direct support as needed, performing DSP duties during staffing shortages or emergencies.
  • Support compliance efforts, regulatory audits, safety procedures, and required documentation.
  • Track, order, and maintain household supplies; ensure timely processing of invoices and records.
  • Complete medical request forms, outing documentation, and related coordination tasks.
  • Promote a positive, structured environment that supports individuals in achieving independence and personal goals.
  • Participate in committees, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in an IDD or related setting required.
  • Scheduling, training, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required within 60 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated Christian background and commitment to the Ministry’s mission and values.
