The Position: Weโ€™re looking for a Restoration Construction Project Manager. Starting at $70K-$80K year that is negotiable based on experience, PLUS company vehicle! This position is also eligible for a yearly bonus!

Duties and Responsibilities: ย 

  • Direct communication with customers throughout the entire project to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Management and scheduling of direct report Carpenters.
  • Ensures technical problems with installations and troubleshooting assignments are communicated to the Regional Construction Manager. ย 
  • Ensures material, supplies, permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained by Foremen and Carpenters in a timely and efficient manner.ย 
  • Ensures the timely and quality completion of all construction and carpentry projects. ย 
  • Ensures adherence to the construction scope detailing time and material specifications, and communicate to the management any discrepancies in the scope. ย 
  • Assists in change order estimating, approval process and documentation.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. ย 
  • Ensures the productivity of all Construction division employees. ย 
  • Review job cost reports to monitor labor and material expenses. ย 
  • Schedule, price, and monitor subcontractor performance ย 
  • Comply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Read and comprehend all applicable MSDSs for chemicals that require special handling and use of PPE.ย  ย 
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies specified in the Employee handbook and DSI safety manual. ย 
  • Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers. ย 
  • Execute all work to meet or exceed applicable federal, state and local regulations and company and customer quality standards while providing world-class customer service. ย 
  • Always keep a clean and neat jobsite leaving a first-class impression of our work.
  • Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely fashion, above the line, professionally and with empathy including participation in โ€œOn-Call rotationโ€ which involves some nights and weekend assignments. ย 
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties. ย 
Requirements: ย 

  • Must have Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Minimum 5 years Hands-On Construction Experience
  • 2 years Project Management Experience (preferred)
  • Strong Remodeling/Restoration Experience (preferred)
  • Insurance Restoration Experience (preferred)
  • Local subcontracting resources, to aid in the completion of projects
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have a valid Drivers License ย 
  • Reliable transportation ย 
  • Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs. ย 
  • Pass background check and drug screen ย 
  • Xactimate experience (preferred)
